“Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.” Matthew 5:14. In the Sermon on the Mount the Lord gives a comparison that provides an insight to his listeners. Just as a city on a hill is obvious, so our actions and demeanors are clear to everyone around us. If we behave as we know we should, we teach by example to our family, friends, and those with whom we come in contact. The above photo is of a Galilean farming village on a terraced hill with an olive grove in the foreground.
Above, another example of a Galilean city set on an hill is clearly visible in the distance.
Note: just a short post this week. In the future I will probably only post an average of once per week as my personal schedule is getting busy.
